If your event is in Spain and your guests are not, flamenco is the single highest-return act on the programme. It is the one thing an international delegation cannot get at home, and the one they will describe when they get back.
It is also the act most often delivered badly to corporate audiences, a costume, a backing track and four minutes of stamping. We book working flamenco artists in a range of formations, from a solo dancer with guitar through to a full ensemble of dancers, guitar, cajón and voice.
Two formats. A staged show with a built set and a clear arc, for a gala dinner or an awards opening. Or a looser residency across the evening, shorter interventions that punctuate dinner instead of stopping it. Set lengths and groupings are built around your run of show rather than sold as a fixed package.
We staged a flamenco show with two musicians and four dancers for an international CEO gala dinner at Hotel The Palace Barcelona, and we work with flamenco artists across Spain.
Good to know
- Configurations: guitar + cajón; guitar + cajón + cantaor; add 2 female dancers; add 2 female dancers and 1 male dancer
- Sets of 3 × 15 minutes
- Requires a solid riser or stage, never carpet or rugs, the footwork is the instrument
